The Minister of Tourism was represented by Riyanto Sofyan, chairman of Sofyan Corp and Chairman of the Halal Tourism Acceleration Team, as one of the speakers at the Ministerial Panel session at the World Islamic Economic Forum at the JCC Senayan, Jakarta. (02/08/16).
Indonesia was honored to be the host of 2016 World Islamic Economic Forum (WIEF). The event was held on August 2-4 and according to the Chairman of the Halal Tourism Acceleration Team, Riyanto Sofyan, this is a good opportunity for Indonesia to truly show its potential as the most prominent Halal tourism destination.
‘We are hosting the World Islamic Economy Forum through the Ministry of Finance on August 2-4 2016 at the JCC. This event is usually held in London. In 2014, the British Prime Minister is now open in Jakarta, “Riyanto said some time ago regarding Indonesia’s achievements as a Halal World Tourism Destination.
In fact, according to Riyanto, the OIC Islamic Cooperation of Tourism Ministers Forum appoints Indonesia as a leader, not Malaysia, and will hold a meeting on September 1, 2016.
In this annual WIEF event, RiyantoSofyan was entrusted to represent the Minister of Tourism as Chairman of the Halal Tourism Acceleration Team and was the speaker at the Ministerial Panel session at the JCC Senayan Jakarta, Tuesday .
The conference was attended by eight countries, namely, Kazakhstan, Malaysia, Nigeria, Jordan, Guinea, Algeria, Sri Lanka and the United Arab Emirates.
